All virtual sessions are conducted using Microsoft Teams (Free) because it is considered to have the best front-end and back-end encryption of all the telehealth communication platforms. It is both easy to acquire and to use on computers or phones utilizing Microsoft, Apple or Android operating systems.

To download Teams (Free), go to your web browser’s search engine and type in microsoft.com Teams Free. Your search engine will take you to the Microsoft webpage and show you the option for downloading Teams Free to your computer or mobile app. Once Teams Free has been downloaded to your computer or phone, open Teams, then look at the top of the page and you will see the Search function. In the Teams Free Search window type Samuel Smithyman. By entering my name into the search function, your computer will send a message to my Teams address, indicating your desire to connect with me. Once I have received this request from you, I will respond back to you indicating acceptance of your request, and we should then be able to communicate virtually via Teams. My name at this point will be stored in your Teams address book and yours in mine. When we are ready to have a session, I will reach out to you via Teams at the appointment time and, if you are online and ready for the session, you will hear the Teams ring tone and click on the accept button on the screen and we will be connected.
